Just curious... what's your favorite hosting service for downloading files? What experience did you make?

I'm asking since it takes a lot of time to upload raws to different hosting sites because some users can't use certain services.

I find 4shared to be the best nonvirus uploading site. They use Kaspersky Anti-Virus to scan their files which is the #1 choice for anti-virus internet scanning. I feel that majority of uploaders like to use mediafire for it's convenience, but virus protection wise is poorly detected or not detected at all. Oh and media fire has pop-ups sometimes even pop-up blocker can't be helped. I also enjoy megaupload but only for videos because you can only download a certain amount and then wait for 120mins before you can start downloading again. I don't enjoy using sharebee because everytime I go to the site it goes to this ad page and then I have to skip which can cause pop-ups if you click the wrong area and that tends to be annoying. Another awsome uploading site is Box.com very easy to download off from. ^_^ I hope this insite helps<3

P.S. I myself use Mediafire to upload since it's pretty easy to use ^_~*

Mediafire = fast, almost is never down, no time to wait, can download more than one file at once, no busy servers, and so far never got a "your IP downloaded XX, please try again in XX min"

RAWR that almost never down should be notched to 'goes down when it wants to then renders your files useless' >__<

I would normally say mediafire too but lately the issues its been giving me has made me divert to another answer. Megaupload has been doing better these days. The 45 sec wait period has disappeared and the files usually stay there longer. 4shared is also a good place to store backups since they never delete your files as long as you keep checking up on the account before a month passes 8DD;

I agree with nycmango on the fact that box.net is pretty cool to use as well =O!

There's another site called linkbee, which is giving DDL once you get on their page and its pretty convenient. The scanlation group, Ivyscans has been using them for their releases on Tenkuu Seiryuu, so I noticed it 8DD;;

I'v always like mediafire and box.net best. They are both fast and simple without limits. It's a pity that box.net isn't used much so after that I'd have to say 4shared and Megauploads are great for pretty much the same reasons.

Mediafire = without limit, fast and reliable. They are limited spam/adds and they almost never have any downtime.

I used to like Mediafire best, but it started having some problems here.
Every time the upload was almost finished, it suddenly went back to 1%.
I still like it for downloads though.

Well, Mediafire is the best. I like blue also. :D
Rapidshare needs membership or you wait for ages.
Sendspace is hard to download.
Megaupload is banned in Turkey :s

Savefile - to download sometimes? I just hate uploading with SF, it dies after 30 days... like most oTL

Yousendit - my most convenient upload/download service- downside links only lasts for 7 days, but still good for those quick uploads (x
