If somebody knows how to contact cshoujo or one of their staff please please tell me, and please don't tell me to use their email because I already tried it several times but without any results (in a very polite way) they didn't even replied me back

They probably won't reply if you ask them how to get their scans and etc either X: Thought I'll point that out in case you did (A lot of people do).

Nope I didn't ask this but I did ask if we could use their scans for scanlation and since they didn't replied back I decided to scan them myself

Well I just checked when I emailed cshoujo about accessing their irc channel... I never got a reply... I emailed them in july 2007... so I just gave up...

I think this is because there is an announce that say "We are currently not open to the Public".
I too asked for a raw, but I didn't recive a reply, I even asked reply even if I wrote something wrong, but noting, so I think that for now they aren't closed, because there were recent release, but they don't give raw. I don't know if this could help you, but I think we must wait for another announcement that say they are now open

Yeah, me too I asked for access in their channel (looong time ago), but they didn't reply to me, neither to tell me to bug them anymore...

You can't acces to their channel or files if you don't from a confimed groups or if you we're active and well knowed members from the old forum.

Hm. If I had seen this sooner, I could have at least given you all closure or something.

They (Cshoujo staff) shut down random public access to their releases (old and new) because of a very, very bad leak (and several preceding that incident) of a lot of their releases when they had specifically asked for no distribution outside of IRC (due to legal scares and whatnot).

What does this mean for you if you haven't been invited to their private community?

Believe it or not, the Cshoujo staff are still (and have been since their close to the public some years ago) adding new members to the private community. I'm not part of that process, so I have absolutely no idea how the selection works. However, it does help to ask around ONLY IF you personally knew someone from the old community. I know this sounds kind of biased and I sympathize with you, but it's hard to get over a breech of trust. I'm sure uploaders on this forum would understand that best.

Their website is still up (cshoujo.com) and has a link to their mailing list, which I would recommend to anyone hoping for access in the future. There is a "comment/note" box on that page. It would work in your favor to be polite and list reasons why you would wish for Cshoujo to open again or let you gain access. There was recent discussion of perhaps opening the community to the public once more, so not all is lost.

Otherwise, the only way I can think of that has a higher probability of success if you want to see certain releases is to request to use Cshoujo scans of that series for scanlating. I know the Cshoujo staff is still approving those.
