Usually points deduction happens if you didn't follow rules/guidelines.
Also, it'll cost 5 points per request in request forum.
The reason for points deduction is included in PM and in your problem post(s)

Q: I have more than 50 points but I can't access to Licensed forum.

To answer your question, Once you reached 50 points, go to Usergroups (top menu) and apply to join Level3 group. Please wait for my approval and don't PM me about how long it'll take or anything like that.

Q: I want to download from licensed forum.

I'm sorry. We are not accepting new membership to level3 at this moment.
Please wait for new announcement.

Q: Tell me about Usergroups

Rhight now, we have total of 6 User levels and 4 Usergroups.

1. Registered User
You are a registered to this site.
You have access to Incomplete/Ongoing, Completed forum and other forums.

2. Level3
You have more than 50 points and if approved, you can join level3 group. You'll have access to licensed forum and michex Scans forum.
You need to apply to join the group by click Usergroups link above. Group mod will check you status and decide if you are eligible. Once mod approved you to join the group, you will receive E-mail notification.

4. Uploader
Mod team evaluate your activity and put you in the group.
Uploaders will share their goodies with us.

5. Moderator
We have 6 moderators for this site. we are working hard to keep organize this forum so have respect for them. They know site rules more than anybody and they can answer most of the questions.
IF we ever need more mods, we will approach you.

6. Admin
Admin is running the site, set the rules, update, add features etc...

This is the highest level regular member can be.
you can request manga that you want to read.
I will get the title and scan them for you to download.
title have to be hard to find mangas. If you can find it on other websites, p2p, LJ, IRC or wherever on the net, I won't scan so pick something else.

Cost 100 points to request. (I know it's high but think about it, you can download the title you've been looking for a long time and never available on the net.)

Knight member also can download other knight member's requested title.
cost 20 points per download.

Uploader

Upload more than 5 titles and keep upload at least 1 title every 1 month.
Mod team will keep eye on who is sharing and how many.
1 title = complete manga, 1/3 of the series

Uploaders also have access to Mangas the knight members requested. (Uploaders can't request manga though)

Q: Do I need points to download from manga sharing and Licensed manga forums?

NO, you don't need points to download from forums at this time.

Q: What is double post and how to fix that?

the meaning of Double Post explained in Site Rules. If you don't know what I'm talking about.....
Make sure you go check your message right after you submitted.
After you submit your post this page show up.


You can either wait to redirect to your post or hit "Click here to view your message".

If your PC or whetever had a problem and your post show up like this..

you can fix this pretty easy. See your 2nd post (the one you want to delete) you should see thease icons..

If you post something and right after you post something again in a very same thread like this...

this is also a duble post. See time and date. It's same day and almost right after your 1st post. Please don't do this. you should edit your 1st post.

to edit your post...see your 1st post and you should see these icons


Click button and add or change whatever you need to do.

So there, there is no excuse for making duble posts because even if it was technical issue, If you check your post right after your posting you should be able to fix that before one of us finds it.

Q: What about Posting after more than few days later? I'm the last person posted in a thread and I have new info I want to post.

This is a good question. That won't be a double post in that case. Because, It has been a while since the last post and you have a new infomation about the topic. Editing is not going to bump the thread so in order to make people notice your new info is to make reply.
However, if your last post was thanks to uploader and few days later you posted again thanking uploader is not necessary to submit new reply.
It would be case by case.

Q: Do you have any rules about Avatar and signature banner?

Yes. Avatar should be within 100x100 and no larger than 30kb
Signature banner should be less than 400 width and 2 signature banners max

Q: What post consider as "Thank you" posts?

"Thank you" posts are not only just Thank you but also posts state "thank you I love this" type of meaning.

These type of posts are consider as "Thank you" posts.
Also, if you write 10 lines of comment just saying how thankful you are will also be deleted

We DO really appreciated that you guys enjoy them. However, there is a Thank Topic button to do that. If everybody just post one line Thank you.... posts without saying what did you think about manga or infomation about manga, oveflow the database and it'll cause a problem running this site.
You may receive PM from Moderators about this. However, You will not get any kind of penalty after all, you are showing your appreciation You just don't earn points for that type of posts that's all.
This apply in Downloads forums (incomplete/ongoing, complete, licensed, michex scans update)

So, what is good post in Downloads Forums?

It's the best if you download the files and read first. If you want to talk about the title then post. If you are just thankful for uploaders to share their goodies then click "Thank Topic" button.

If you have any infomation regarding the title, you can post it too.
like if you know same type of manga and let people know about it.
(But don't just post "This manga remind me of XX". Let us know which part similar to XX or why you think this title remind you of XX.)
Also if you can write some summaries would help a lot of people understand the titles.

My points don't increase after some amount of points, why?

We have max points for a day. You will not gain points after 75 points and/or 15 posts a day. You will need to wait for 24 hours before start to earn again. This is to prevent spam posts.

Licensed titles = Licensed in U.S
Titles in our licensed forum are U.S licensed series only. If the titles are licensed in other countries such as China, Italy, Korea, etc.... are not considered as licensed titles on this site.

Topic icons
We have some icons that you see on each forum page in download forum.
They are....
=BL/Yaoi titles
=GL/Yuri titles
=Mature content
=Shounen/Seinen titles
=Shoujo/Josei titles

oh, ok. i think i understand what's going on. posts such as licensing information, adding/uploading of links, are moved to the 'older posts' section of the forum after a while to prevent a specific thread from getting too many pages. clean-up, i should say^^

One more question, it seems one volume BL titles are still in general manga list, will you leave it this way or will you move them in one volume list later?

Well... the only problem is, that there are no topic icons in the one-volumes board and I don't want members to click on a topic only to see that they clicked on a BL title... so I think we'll leave it the way it is for now, until michex makes a different decision.

Simply because they are not in the One-Volumes board, only in the Completed main board ^^ And that's because the One-Volumes board doesn't have icons too choose, so readers won't know that this one or that one is a BL title (as stated before in my answer). As soon as michex makes icons in the One-Volumes board available we can move them there and add them to the One-Volume/Oneshots list ^^

Hi, I have a suggestion. I think it might be useful to have a place where people could post mangaka's websites or blogs when they find them (maybe under Information Center?) A lot of them have useful info and some of them have bonuses like free wallpapers for downloading.

@Lana777 Finally, it's possible to add topic icons to the one-volume section, so I think we can move BL/GL one-volume titles there and add them to the mentioned list :)

sorry this is sort of a request/suggestion but I really don't want to sound pushy or ungrateful in any way just to tell you :)
I was wondering if it was possible to open registrations again, I realize that there are spam problems but I feel like this forum isn't as active as it used to be and it's more fun when there's actually a conversation going on in the threads. I feel like the threads aren't getting posted in for days and even weeks sometimes and I thought since it's been a while since registrations closed, it'd be nice to have some new faces in the forums.
Also I myself upload/post some manga and it'd make me happier to see the download counts go up instead of only seeing 3 downloads per link since I am taking my time to scan

I honestly am not fully aware of the situation... but I'm think perhaps have some people you trust act as moderators to the forums. Just a little suggestion. However, I do understand that life is busy. I had a forum myself and I had some great moderators... but at one point we all got to busy so eventually with the move of our forums - it's started dieing slowly. I would never want that to happen to this place though >....<

Some suggestions: is it possible to divide licensed manga to completed and incomplete/ongoing manga parts, just as other manga?It would be easier.
And is it possible to make another way to mark topics, just like how it gets a dot after messaging to a topic?

Well, if I've messaged to a forum the icon showing "New post" etc. on the left of each forum gets a dot. So is it possible to get that without a message? I mean a way to mark forums.

the black dot topics means you posted in that topic.
Right now, only thing you can do is to subscribe to a topic that you want to follow but you don't see black dot topic unless you posted in that topic.

I'll look into marking or stand out topics without posting.

Edit to add: You can check your subscribed thread in your user control panel. Manage subscription section.

New version of the site displays check mark for subscribed topic.
